The Brigade Is Coming

My understanding from The Master is that The Brigade will be available in about ten days' time in some kind of internet downloadable format.

Hall on The Brigade

Dear Harold,

I downloaded the completed first draft of The Brigade from the web address you provided, and I saved it okay as a Word document. I began reading it on line, but after the first twenty pages I stopped and got a grip on myself. I was determined to do this right.

Acting on your advice, I went out to Office Depot and bought not just one, but two extra toner cartridges for my printer. It turned out these were needed in order to print the 672 pages of the book, not to mention several hours of time. I used up the toner cartridge I had in there and probably most of the first replacement cartridge as well. I shudder to think how much it would have cost if I had a printer that used ink cartridges.

I am normally off on Mondays, and before I started reading I went ahead and called in to work and took Tuesday off as a personal day, since I have gotten entrapped by your works before. The last time I took such a personal day, incidentally, was to read your last book, A Mighty Fortress. Then I got everything cleared away, turned off my phones, sat down and started to read.

As you know, Harold, I’ve followed The Brigade from the very beginning in your serialization, always reading it online and not on paper, so I figured I already had most of it down in my mind; the only thing I was worried about was the length and whether I would simply be worn down to the point where I had to take a break from it. This was the first time I was able to sit down with the whole book in front of me and read it all at once, from beginning to end. I started reading at about one o’clock Monday afternoon, and I finished it around dawn on Tuesday. Then I went out for breakfast, because I ate nothing during the entire time, consumed only black coffee and junk snacks, and left the table only for bathroom breaks.

I am not going to try and describe my feelings about this book, because words simply fail me. I will just say this: Harold, if you can find the way to use it properly, this book will change the world. It is in my opinion impossible for any White person, man or woman, to sit down and read The Brigade and not become convinced in their heart of the justice of the Northwest cause, and to see a bright and shining vision of a future that can and must be. It simply isn’t possible for a white man or woman reading this book not to be stirred and shaken to the very foundation of their being. This book transfigures men.

From this point on, your task in life consists of one goal: to get as great a number of White people to read this book as possible. If you can get enough people to do so, then we will win and we will secure the existence of our people and a future for White children. If you can’t get enough people, or the right people (almost as important) to read this book, then our bloodline and the civilization we created and the world as we know it will die.

The key is now in your hands. I want to be a part of this. Please tell me how.
